Robert Pattinson Thinks Sex Is 'Weird'

The hunky ‘Breaking Dawn’ star admits that real-life love isn’t always all it’s cracked up to be — can you believe him?

Robert Pattinson always drops some interesting tidbits in interviews, but he unleashed a true bombshell by admitting why he thinks sex is “weird.” Poor Kristen Stewart!

Rob, 25, was doing press for Breaking Dawn in Germany when he was asked by BZ Berlin about his personal views on intimacy.

“Sex is such a weird thing because it’s connected to so many emotions,” he said. “It’s something really personal and that should be respected.”

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers — is Rob sharing too much information or is he just being honest?

Appalling how Rob’s words were taken out of context in order to bring people to your blog. Disgraceful that this kind of tabloid behavior actually can influence the attitudes of those who are not knowledgeable about Rob. Luckily, a video of the interview is available; when heard in context,Rob’s words were not about the “weirdness” of sex, but about its complexity and the respect that it deserves. How refreshing to hear such sentiments expressed with such eloquence by one so young. Shame on you for being so misleading.

Wm Earl of HL, please stop twisting Robs words to get hits on your boards. Rather, you should concentrate on the wonderful things that he said, just like your fellow writer, Kirsten Benson. She nails every time.

I think this is a really sweet thing for Rob to say – that sex is connected to so many emotions and should be respected. He didn’t mean “weird’ like a three-legged monkey weird — of course Mr. William HL, you know that. I answer to defend Rob before some silly little twit starts in, but you really do use his words like a firing squad, and for most this don’t require an explanation but I will proceed — he meant it has all sorts of connotations, it is not just the physical act for him, as for 99% of men out there.- Jaded, but true. Okay, 75%. There are lots of other emotions, like, let’s say, caring and love and Eeeee! (I just added that part myself) and the like. Got it?

So before you all start attacking Rob, this statement he made was a really good one towards women, and his feelings towards sex.
