Shopping Mall Santas Scaling Back Kids’ Expectations, Profiling Parents: MyFoxCHICAGO.com

Fox anchor Robin Robinson didn’t mince words when spoiling a long standing Christmas tradition on the nightly news — should she be reprimanded?

It looks like we’ve found the real-life grinch! HollyBaby.com has stumbled upon a video of a Chicago Fox news anchor who didn’t have any issue taking Santa to task at 9:45pm when most children are still awake watching TV with their parents!

“Stop trying to convince your kids that Santa is Santa. There is no Santa,” Robin screamed. “Santa’s a generosity of the season. But he’s not coming down the chimney, he’s not eating those cookies, he’s not bringing you anything!”

The anchor later apologized after receiving hate mail to the station. Do you think she should be suspended or even fired?

Banish her from the program for the Christmas month.!!!
Too poor in spirit. Not a sympatico personality.
Ooh to believe.. or not,is a personal choice.
I’m in my 8th decade and still believe.
Santa really is there for the children.
He has lots of helpers, even though they do not all wear
red suits or have the sleigh and reindeer.
The fireplace is clean,Christmas story books are out and the cookies are soon to be baked.
I can almost hear the tinkle of bells.
The reindeer are already here daily, but I have yet to hear
them on the roof. Maybe soon……..I’ll wait

why would any person with an IQ above 10 ever let a kid watch the news? has anyone seen the news within the last 20 years? it is the equivalent to a R rated movie! OH and the child that needs shoes that fit, THOSE KIDS ARE THE ONES I WANT TO HELP. parents that cant provide kids with shoes that fit should be sterilized.

I agree 9:45 is too late for children who still believe in Santa to be awake. It would be a different story if she said it on the 6pm news.

Any child up that late on a school night is too old to believe in Santa.. Young kids should NOT be up that late.
