Despite an earlier report Demi Moore was out on her first post-Ashton Kutcher date, Hollywoodlife.com can reveal the actress was actually enjoying dinner with a supportive friend who had helped her try and save her marriage
Demi Moore spent dinner with a mystery man at Hollywood’s Sunset Tower Hotel Nov. 26 and HollywoodLife.com has all the exclusive details on the date — which wasn’t as romantic as it originally sounded.
“Demi was out for dinner with her florist, Eric Buterbaugh,” our insider dishes. “They are long time friends and were constantly chatting and joking. They weren’t making a scene at all.”
Eric and Demi, 49, are so close that he actually came with her on her camping trip with Ashton Kutcher — the one that was supposed to save their marriage. Unfortunately, Demi announced her split from Ashton very shortly thereafter. She’s since been trying to move on privately.
During dinner last week, our source says Demi finished her entire meal, which included a salad and a chicken or fish entree. “It was a fun dinner out,” the insider says. “There wasn’t any drama.”
