Elyse was ‘very excited’ to meet Ben, and even at 24, is ‘mature’ enough to get married, a source close to Elyse tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
Bachelor Ben Flajnik is already done filming his season, but fans of the show won’t get to meet his 25 women until the show premieres on Jan. 2. While we’re starting to learn some juicy info about the different girls who compete for Ben’s heart, one Tampa, Fla. girl — Elyse Myers — was totally ecstatic to meet Ben and possibly win him over.
“She wasn’t sure who The Bachelor was for a while, but then she did find out,” Renee Paris, front desk manager at the Healthplex at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital, in Sarasota, Fla. where Elyse worked until leaving to film the show, tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “She was very excited. She was so thrilled. She really wanted to do it now. She figured she’s still young enough and why not.”
While Elyse is only 24 years old, she’s still ready to tie the knot. “I think so because she was very mature for her age,” shares Renee. “She looked young but she acted very mature.”
Elyse might just be the girl that wins Ben’s heart. Elyse worked as the Healthplex’s personal trainer before leaving for the show, and Renee says that everyone loved her.
“She’s great. A lot of the clients love her, miss her,” notes Renee. “She’s beautiful, great personality. She’s awesome. Everybody loved her. She’s very much missed here.”
Elyse also offered nutritional advice. “She’s very up on nutrition,” says Renee. “She was one of our nutritionists here as well.”
Elyse wasn’t dating anyone before she met Ben. “At the time she was single, just having fun with the girls, nothing crazy,” reveals Renee. “She’s a great girl — very responsible always at work, always on time, never hung over. She’s a very nice girl.”
But if Elyse isn’t the one that receives Ben’s proposal and final rose, then her co-workers would like to see her as the next Bachelorette. “That’s what we would really love to see,” gushes Renee. “I have to say she’s a beautiful girl and so sweet.”

Elyse skipped her best friend’s wedding in order to be on this show, which suggests that she is actually quite immature and self-absorbed. I’m not impressed.
