Miley Cyrus Poses For NoH8 Campaign — Is She Trying To Distract From Weed Scandal?

Miley Cyrus is the latest celebrity to join the NoH8 Campaign and show her support for gay marriage

Miley Cyrus recently posed for the NoH8 Campaign — which was created by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska, who snapped the sexy photo of Miley and posted it on his Facebook page. Wearing a see-through blouse and black bra, the 19-year-old star looks happy to be posing for a good cause.

The NoH8 Campaign is a silent protest against the ‘haters’ who oppose gay marriage. The Campaign is in direct response to the passage of Proposition 8. Photos feature subjects with duct tape over their mouths, symbolizing their voices being silenced by Prop 8.

The campaign posted the pic on their Facebook account along with, “Thank you @MileyCyrus for taking a stand & supporting the @NOH8Campaign! #NOH8!”

While we appreciate Miley’s support for an important equal rights campaign, we have to question the timing: did the pop star join the cause to distract fans from her recent ‘I am a pot-head‘ controversy?

Miley has supported gay marriage and the LGBTQ community for a long time. She has written music specifically for the cause (My Heart Beats for Love) and has stood up against those who are against gays in the past, like Urban Outfitters. Why are you feeding into the ignorance? Most people who read your website know nothing about Miley other than what is posted. Which, for it to appear on a gossip blog, it must have a negative tone. (Unspoken rule?)

Miley does a lot of good, yet there are never headlines about that. (And she doesn’t try to show it off, either.) Yet when she makes a sarcastic comment to a friend at her own birthday party, it blows up and she’s turned into Lindsay Lohan and suddenly anything positive she does suddenly doesn’t count.

I don’t understand why so many try to frame Miley to be this horrible human being when in reality she is probably one of the most genuine celebrities out there. And she’s getting punished for that.

Oh yeah for sure! As soon as the weed story broke out (yesterday) Miley called the people over at NoH8 (today) and got them to do a photoshoot to help distract the media from focusing on the weed story! Isn’t it amazing how quickly she was able to do this? And people think that unicorns don’t exist! They clearly do in the MileyWorld :)

PS Of all the Miley articles I read associated with her weed scandal, this one is by far the stupidest I’ve read. Whoever wrote it is beyond dumb to the point of being dumber than most. That’s an achievement in itself.
