An insider says Kris didn’t want to be on TV, but Kim ‘guilted’ him into it
Kim Kardashian has been in the spotlight for years, so we don’t know if we really believe Kris Humphries walked into his relationship with the reality star without realizing he’d be doing so in front of cameras 24/7. However, a source close to the pair has claimed Kris didn’t want to be filmed and was pushed into the situation by Kim.
“Kris is a relatively private person, and he just didn’t want to be on camera and part of a reality show,” the insider told RadarOnline. “In the beginning of the relationship, Kim implored Kris to just appear on camera briefly. Kim played the Reggie Bush card. Reggie loathed the cameras and the reality show, and it was a big source of strain for them while they were dating. Reggie only appeared on Keeping Up With The Kardashians a handful of times. Kim was always pestering Reggie to be on the show, but he always held his ground. Kim guilted Kris into initially appearing on the show.”
After seeing last night’s premiere of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, it seems Kim and Kris’ divorce after 72 days of marriage was inevitable. The couple didn’t stop fighting the entire episode — and just wait until you see how bad the show will paint Kris in episodes to come.
“Kim was stunned by the amount of bad press and the public relations nightmare she has endured since deciding to file for divorce,” a source said. “Kim will be using the show to attempt to rehab her image.”
Despite efforts to boycott the Kardashians, their new show premiere Nov. 27 to record high ratings. It seems like nothing — not even a divorce scandal — will bring that family down.
