R-Patz is so grateful for the Twi-hards that made his film series so successful!

Robert Pattinson is the heart and soul of Breaking Dawn, but he knows that without the fans the Twilight movies would be nothing!

Rob, 25, says Twi-hards are unlike any other fans, Better TV reports.

“This is such a grassroots series,” he said. “It didn’t have that much push at the beginning and now because of the people who love the books and word of mouth it rivals Harry Potter!”

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers — is Rob the most fan-friendly celeb ever?

I personally liked The Last Dragon Chronicles ( The Fire Within, Icefire, Firestar, the Fire Eternal and Dark Fire) by Chris D’Lacey; The Warrior Heir, Wizard heir and Dragon heir by Cinda Williams Chima; The Warriors sieres by Erin Hunter was fantastic; If you want another vampire read, Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead was a good book. Though it was a bit adult.Hope this helps!

Wow! I love Rob, but Twilight does not and will never reach the success of Harry Potter! He’s just kidding himself! Harry Potter is people’s childhood and has been for over 10 years while Twilight has only been around for 5!

What kind of people has Harry Potter as their childhood? Use your brain when you want to say something, okay? It could be in a worse condition due to long disuse, you know that.

Well seeing as Harry Potter has been around since 1997 and it is now 2011, do the math!

And it’s “What kind of people HAVE Harry Potter as their childhood,” not “has”. And you seriously are talking to me about using my brain? You can’t even do math or use proper grammar. If anyone has long term brain damage here, it’s you!

You do the Math in terms of production cost. With so much bruhaha sorrounding BD promo, how much do you think has summit earned for the promo alone? I think they have earned half of BD pt 1 and 2 PC, already, so i think solid profit has already been guaranteed. My point is that the Twilight saga is pocketing cash more than that of the HP movies in terms of solid profit. Its a lowly independent film turned into a world phenomenon. Summit has given Catherine 38 million to make the movie and it ends up making a half of a billion dollar including DVD sales. NM has 54 million and it ended into more than 3/4 of a billion dollar, and same with Eclipse with a 68 million PC… Now do the Math
