She’s inspired me in so many ways. I can’t even begin to tell you what a great role model she has been for me. I too went through Bulimia and Anorexia and she speaks so strongly on self respect now and how feeling good about yourself helps you strive to achieve what you want most in this world. Being healthy is what matters most. She also is one of my biggest musical inspirations, I listen to her most of all out of anything else on my iPod. I even practice singing more so I could even be a fraction as good as her.
She may think she doesn’t deserve her success but she has earned every ounce of it and is a true role model and if I had my own kids I would be proud to have them look up to someone like her.
Demi has helped me through good and bad and some of the most critical years of my life, like high school.
You can’t beat that.
I have nothing but love for her.

I know exactly how she feels – I’m 17, and have been ill for over four years now with major anxiety & depression , and schizophrenia psychosis, and I’ve nearly lost the battle, nearly losing my life countless times, and I even had to spend last Christmas completely alone from everyone. I am finally starting to get better again, and it feels like the first time I have ever been happy it’s been that long! I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I’m feeling for this Christmas……I know how hard it is to keep going strong. Good luck!

Two years ago my duaghter talked me into taking her to see Ms. Lovato in concert here in North Carolina. I didn’t even know who she was, mid way through the show I was phoning and texting the buddies saying ” Dang this chic is pretty good” …….well we know what happened last year. I was watching from afar. I almost gave up hope. Then the 2nd most beutiful sight I ever seen in my life emerged dressed in white and hitting a high note that gives Carrie Underwood goose bumps. Ms. Lovato you did it! Now just remember never ever ever ever ever ever give up.
