Tragedy strikes while the family is on their epic Israel trip!

19 Kids and Counting is always dramatic, but terror strikes when baby Josie Duggar has to be hospitalized during the family’s Israel excursion!

Although their trip is so much fun, the decision of whether or not to continue travelling comes into play with Josie’s illness, RadarOnline.com reports.

I admire the Duggars. Praise God for this family in this time. Jesus open the eyes of everyone who reads this. Lord I thank you that whoever reads these words that chain break right now in the name of Jesus. Satan I command you to get out of their life and I pray that someone would minister to these hurting people. I speak peace into their heart and life

This family is disgusting! Fake. Self centered. Outrageous!! That poor baby. None of those kids get the attention they need or deserve. They all run amuck. TLC get a grip, cancel this show.

shame shame shame on her..she is not better than a dog in a puppy mill, these poor kids. They all look so happy but come on if you had to raise your brothers and sisters while mommy and daddy are making more kids and now they are making sick kids you would be pissed..Hello the last one almost died like five different times and the 20th did die..if that is not a wake up call what is, when the next one comes out with two heads, and one body..then what? and for those of you who say it is up to her to have more kids or not..I agree it is up to her but what about the kids what is up to them ? she is a grandmother that is just too creepy and is almost fifty i am 37 and I am done for the simple fact after 35 there are too many risks and i would not want to do that to a child that is mean if you ask me..michelle, stop and enjoy the 19 you have some people can’t even have one..count your blessings and stop with the shock value America is done with you and your 100 kids and counting..there should be a Free the Dugger kids show, let the kids talk with out mommy or daddy telling them what to say…i bet half of them don’t want to be forced into a life of child care and home schooling..not that home schooling is bad but for 19 of them how can you be sure they are getting the proper amount of time per kid???

Josie shows signs of Down’s Syndrome. Not surprising given the mom’s age. Mr. Duggar is extremely SELFISH and so is Mrs. Duggar because they are putting more babies at risk of having birth defects. Enough is enough already!!!!

I personally work with children who have down syndrome and Josie clearly has the physical and cognitive signs of mild to moderate down syndrome.

While getting pregnant again is something I feel is their choice, I think it might have been wise to wait until at least until their youngest is a bit more free from health issues. Josie is somewhat of a special needs child right now, and needs her mom, not a sibling, to care for her, and that will be difficult when the new baby comes. I like that the siblings help their mom out, but it seems to me like more often than not, the help is a bit like these young girls are mothers themselves. I never see them with friends outside of their family, or with the Bates family. I really feel they need to have some time to discover who they are away from the family unit, and I just don’t see that happening with more and more children comming into the family. They are a lovely family, but I do take issue with another pregnancy while Josie has special needs, and the older girls are doing so much of the work with the youngest children.

This is ridiculous. The older children are raising the younger children.Out of all those kids,some of these “children” are bound to resent the fact that instead of having a life of their own, they are forced to be parents or at least permenent baby sitters for the younger siblings. These parents are being very self centered. I love kids but holy crap, put a lid on it or get a tv!

It is so interesting that everyone is sooo appalled and saying there should be limits.

This family is kind and loving and they seem happy. First of all even if Josie is Downs, it is NOT a sickness. So much for believing people who are special ARE special. Also the way this family raises the kids together and the elder ones have responsibilities is that same way almost all of the families of the past did things. Look back on census records. Look back in old newspapers! ten or a dozen or even 16 or 20 kids was NOT unusual for most of humanities history. Only in the last 70 years is it “bad” to have a big family. I think we all need to get a better historical perspective on our OWN families pasts. Love makes the difference between good parenting and bad. You can SEE they love their kids and the kids love them.
