Jennifer Williams: ‘Basketball Wives’ Star Posts Touching Tribute After Mom Dies Of Cancer

Jennifer Williams has been very open with fans about her mother's battle with cancer and sadly she lost her fight with the disease on Dec. 28. Jennifer posted several touching tributes to Instagram and said she 'can't stop crying.' Jennifer Williams is absolutely devastated over the loss of her mom. The Basketball Wives star had been by her mother's side during the holidays as she battled cancer but she let fans know that her mother sadly died right after Christmas. Jennifer posted a very touching tribute on IG that will definitely leave you in tears so grab you Kleenex!

This is just so sad. Jennifer’s mother has been battling cancer for a while and the reality star has been documenting the very sad journey on social media. Over Christmas she posted this sweet message before her mom died: “Some want new cars, clothes, gadgets for Christmas. My only wish for Christmas was to spend it with my mother. As I get older I realize the things I want can’t be bought. I also got the best gift ever which was the news that my mother no longer qualifies for the hospice as her condition is not progressing. To God be the glory, Merry Christmas.. Thank you to all the prayer.” But unfortunately she passed away shortly after and Jennifer posted this touching tribute:

She also posted two other pics with sweet messages too: “Gorgeous inside and out… Rest with the Angels #ILoveUMom💔.” Another pic says: “Thank you for making me who I am today… I owe it all to you!! I love you Mommy.. I can’t stop crying 😪.”

Jennifer joined VH1’s hit show, Basketball Wives but was dropped after season 4. She was married to NBA star Eric Williams in 2007 but the two divorced in 2010.
