The divorce has been hard on Rumer, Scout and Tallulah Willis, too.

Demi Moore‘s split from Ashton Kutcher is hurting more than just them — her daughters with Bruce Willis — Rumer, Scout and Tallulah — are very upset over the news.

“They were so close to Ashton, and this whole thing has just killed him,” a source tells Us Weekly of Rumer, Scout and Tallulah’s feelings.

The daughters also worried about their mother’s health and “started treating her like a wounded puppy” as Demi kept losing weight.

Eventually, Demi saw the pain her daughters were in, which “helped her reevaluate the situation and see that it was destroying her,” the source adds.
