You have to try out this great new NYC hotspot — their perfect meatballs are just the beginning!
We were SO excited to try The Meatball Factory, one of the classiest and most fun additions to the East Village — and it was nothing short of a delicious night out!
While Chef David Martin — who competed on the first season of Top Chef — offers a large menu, rest assured that the meatballs reign supreme. Our party loved both the Hog Wild (made from scrumptious pork) and the Turducken (a nuanced blend of turkey, duck and chicken).
Complementing the specialty meatballs are a variety of sauces, and our table went wild for both the Truffle Time and Hells Bells Vodka Sauce — two very different but complementary flavors.
Though the meatballs are great on their own, we loved having them served on a bed of Fettuccine Alfredo, the special for the night. It really tied the meal together and made for a delightfully savory dish.
Also of note: a generous wine list, which cements dominance as a top-tier Italian restaurant.
We finished off our meal with some unique dessert options. The Hot Tin Roof Sundae was great way to cool off, and those looking for a more adventurous sweet will definitely want to try the PB & J Bars.
All said, this was a delicious, inspired meal, adding plenty of flair to comforting traditional cuisine.
