Robert Pattinson Interview: Why I Don’t Talk About Kristen Stewart

The hunky actor reveals his motivation for keeping mum about the love of his life!

Breaking Dawn sweethearts Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are so in love, but Rob is hesitant to talk about his relationship to the press. Now R-Patz is discussing WHY he keeps his private life so private!

Rob, 25, said keeping a lid on things with Kristen, 21, is not only important for his sanity, but also his career, the Edinburgh Evening News reports.

“Most actors encourage the attention because they think it will make them have a more lasting career, but I don’t think that’s the case,” he says. “The more of yourself you reveal, the less interesting people find you. Mystery lasts a lot longer.”

Ya…robsten are definately really smart to keep their love as a secret but now with this interview it is already revealed!!

I think Rob and Kristen are very smart to keep their private lives to themselves and their family and friends because if it’s out there it becomes almost a reality show. I think the love that these two have for each other are genuine and as a fan I’m very happy for them.

How can I STOP Loving these two? its painful to know this kind of love is out there & its too late for most of us…some say the real test will be this time next year, when the Twilight is finally dimmed & the world will have to continue in darkness, who knows maybe the Mayan Doomsday doesn’t seem so bad!! Kristen and Robert are not dating so there’s nothing to talk about. They do that hanging around with eachother to promote the twilght movies. Come Jan 2013 you will never see them together again. But its cute that people think they’re together.

Another one who thinks Robert and Kristen made a deal with Summit to pretend to date for 4-5 years to boost ticket sales?!! As if Twilight and all the sequels ever needed help drumming up box office interest. Common sense people, common sense!!!

Both Rob and Kristen have discreetly admitted they are a couple and have been since about half-way through the first Twilight movie. They have been together 3 years now and are reported to be as devoted to each other as they were at the beginning of their relationship. As for talking about it, Rob is right in one sense; when it comes to revealing things that people wonder about but have no way of knowing. But when it comes to something that is obvious and where your actions have really answered the question, admitting something like “Yes, we are together” isn’t a big deal. While they don’t owe it to anybody I think that’s all most fans want from Rob and Kristen is a simple “yes we are.”

Breaking Dawn parts 1 and 2 filmed simultaneously and were done filming last year and, guess what – Rob and Kristen are still together. And don’t write off the Twilight Saga just yet. Lions Gate Entertainment just bought Summit Studios and Summit is the one who made the Twilight films. The boss of Lions Gate wants to continue the series and has even talked of brining Twilight to TV. I don’t see it coming to TV but if the circumstances were right and the cast, or at least Rob, Kristen, and Taylor could be enticed to continue other members of the cast have said they’d love to do more Twilight films. So it may not be over yet.
