Why go out? The top music stars in the world put on an epic singing, dancing show that was better than anything you’d see on Broadway. Here’s 5 reasons why!

#1) J-Lo Rocked Our Socks Off — Adios Marc Anthony!

As if there wasn’t proof enough already that age is no longer ANY issue for women – J-Lo , 42, kicked age and Marc Anthony to the curb and into the stratosphere with her kick butt performance of “On the Floor.” When she whipped off her sequin semi-nude gown to reveal an almost entirely nude look with just a few strategically-placed sequins, she served notice that this performance would be her best yet!

And can we add, that she also hands down PROVED that you can be sexy as hell with womanly thighs and a real butt! Hear that — diet obsessors!

#2) Nicki Minaj Rocked The Show from the Opening Seconds

It’s not everyone that can get a party started in an instant, but Nicki Minaj proved she could with hyper-energetic renditions of hits “Turn Me On” and “Super Bass.” If anyone planned on dozing off on the couch through the AMAs, she served notice that that was NOT an option.

Congrats Nicki on winning Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album for Friday!

#3) Enrique Iglesias: You Brought Sexy Guy Back to the AMAs!

A white T-shirt, well-worn jeans AND that face, that voice and those hips. Enrique didn’t have to bring any fancy distractions to blow us away with “I Like How It Feels” and “Tonight (I’m F****** You)” — he had us simply with his sex appeal.

#4) LMFAO’s Dance Party Rock Anthem Brought Down the House as the House Had To End!

Thank you guys for being such hilarious weirdos and such fantastic dancers. Plus, thank you for inviting Justin Bieber onstage to dance his feet off. Though sorry Justin — you’re good, but your prodigy status still doesn’t apply to dancing.

#5) The Show in the Audience Was As Fun to Watch As the Stage!

How cute were Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez snuggling and holding hands and just having an amazing date in front of our eyes in their matching 1920s outfits?

• Then even cuter — BFFs Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez sitting side by side giggling, talking, clapping, dancing and goofing together. I was having a good time watching their good time.

• Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith dancing to Marc Anthony and Pitbull!

Didn’t you love how musicians ACTUALLY don’t mind admitting they’re thrilled and having a good time at their awards shows AND they most of all — thank their fans and NOT their agents. They make A-list movie stars look like wax figures.

#5 A) Honorable mentions to totally entertaining performances by Chris Brown, Pitbull, Justin Bieber and The Band Perry. Plus, Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera …who certainly gave people lots to talk and tweet about!
