19 Kids And Counting Recap

Fresh from their adventures in Scotland and Ireland, the Duggar family takes on their next destination — England!

The Duggar family world tour continues! In this episode, the family arrives in England and checks their 26 bags into the hotel. The kids are super confused by the bidet in the bathroom, which led to some hilarious confusion. One of the boys thought it was for “the doggies,” and the other little ones tried using it as a sink!

The next day, Jim Bob tries to drive “on the wrong side of the road,” which made everyone in the crew very nervous. Michelle then tried her hand at it, but admitted she’s not as good of a driver. Luckily, they survived that adventure and held a family conference to remind the kids to be grateful that they can take trips like this and to have good manners.

Then the family takes a trip to Buckingham Palace, and the ladies head to an eccentric hat shop. The store had designed hats for the royal wedding and Kate Middleton, and the girls had a blast trying on all the different styles.

After the hat modeling was done, they went to eat a traditional English meal — which wasn’t as big of a hit with the kids who wanted hamburgers and chicken fingers. Although dishes like Bangers and Mash and Toad in the Hole threw them off at first, they ended up liking the food.

Last was a trip to Stonehenge for a history lesson. They got a very personalized tour and even got to take a VIP walk through the center of the stones!

Sadly, now their trip in England has come to an end. Although they were a little confused by the English accents, food, bidets and driving, they still had a great trip. Jim Bob even said London is one of the prettiest cities he had ever been to!

Next week, the Duggars visit Israel! Have YOU ever been to England? What sites did you see?

I live in England so I was so excited when I heard the Duggar family had come over! Today I watched the episode and was gutted I didn’t know when they were here. Otherwise I would of been sneaking around trying to spot them out! :P I have seen just about all there is to see in England but I found watching the Duggars discovering new things so interesting yet hilarious. I have to admit I was quite shocked at how many differences there were. I just didn’t think we were all that different!

I love the Duggars. The children are so well behaved, sweet and kind. The Duggar family sure wins over the dysfunctional Gosselin family.
