Not only did Selena look gorgeous on the AMAs red carpet, but she looked happy — and HollywoodLife.com knows why!

Selena Gomez has been down in the dumps ever since her puppy Baylor was hospitalized for eating rocks, but now HollywoodLife.com can exclusively report that Baylor is on the road to recovery! “My puppy is feeling better,” Selena told fans Nov. 20 on the 2011 American Music Awards red carpet. “I am so grateful!”

Selena looked amazing at the AMAs, showing up arm-in-arm with a super-dapper Justin Bieber.

As for her Thanksgiving plans, Selena told us she’ll be celebrating the holiday at home in Texas.
