Even though Selena Gomez is so in love with Justin Bieber, she’s an independent woman!

Selena, 19, was recently in a great video promoting her Dream Out Loud clothing line, and she says one of her most important fashion rules she lives by is to keeping true to herself.

“At the end of the day, you should not wake up and dress for anybody but yourself,” Selena said. “Because there will be magazines, there will be people, boyfriends, there will be girls who will say, ‘That’s what looks good, that’s amazing, that’s in!’ But ultimately at the end of the day you’re going to dress for yourself.”
