The couple had plenty of ‘intense’ arguments due to his alleged cheating — it was too much for their marriage to handle!
Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore‘s marriage certainly showed signs of strain before their divorce announcement, but it turns out private arguments between the two were even more heated!
Demi, 49, and Ashton, 33, tried to work things out, but the tension was too much, PEOPLE reports.
“The fighting could get pretty intense,” a source close to the couple says. “Whatever counseling they did was fine for a quick fix but could not get to the heart of the problem.”
Another friend of the couple agrees that the strain unbearable.
“Ashton is unhappy; [Demi]‘s unhappy,” the source says. “It just got to a point where they had to end it.”

I dont think they should get a divorce. She was afraid he would cheat now that he finally did she should almost be relieved. It didnt kill her, and he got it out of his system. I think he really loves her, she loves him. Work it out !
