There are so many ways to add volume to your own hair. Volumizing mousse and sprays are a cheap and easy option. Extensions add volume and can be styled like real hair, but get a professional consultation at a salon to learn about the process before booking an appointment to get them professionally done. Teasing the hair, or back-combing, adds volume, but at a price. The method often leaves hair split and damaged.
