Katy is finishing up her ‘California Dreams’ tour, but now she wants a break! Will she be pregnant soon?

Katy Perry admitted on The Ellen DeGeneres show that she wants lots of kids with hubby Russell Brand one day — and now sources say she’s ready to start! According to the NY Post, Katy is taking time off to “work on her family.”

Sources said she told her managers she’s taking a year to spend time with Russell and start a family!

“Yeah, I would love to have children,” Katy told Ellen during her appearance. “I think that’s one of the reasons you get married, especially to the person that you marry. You think, ‘That person is going to be a good partner, a good parent.'”

She added that she just might want lots of kids — provided giving birth doesn’t hurt! “If it doesn’t hurt the first time… I’ll keep popping them out,” she joked.

We’re so excited for Katy and Russell! Do YOU think she’ll get pregnant soon? Are you glad she’s taking time to focus on family or should she keep touring?
