Sofia is adored for her sexy curves, but that wasn’t always the case! Instead of being welcomed into Hollywood for her fantastic frame, she was told her boobs were too big!
Sofia Vergara told Health Magazine that when she first arrived in Hollywood, her ex-publicist told her to get a breast reduction!
“I remember my publicist told me: “I think you should just reduce your boobs because nobody’s going to take you seriously here”. Sofia Vergara, who grew up in Colombia, was shocked that her curvy body was looked down upon in the United States.
‘When I moved to America I was more voluptuous and I felt a little different,’ Vergara, now 39, told the magazine. ”In Latin America we do learn to be more comfortable with our bodies”.
Her mother wasn’t happy about the suggestion either. ”My mother almost had a heart attack. She was like: “God is going to punish you! You can’t cut your boobs!”‘
Vergara continued to flaunt her beautiful Latin body, and has been reaping the benefits ever since. “I also did a TV commercial for Pepsi when I was 17 on the beach in a bathing suit. And after that, everybody was like: “Oh my God, that body.”
