Kandi Burruss Wasn’t Playing NeNe Leakes On Real Housewives Of Atlanta

Kandi claims she wasn’t bad-mouthing NeNe to Kim — and that she was just making a joke about NeNe being ‘rich.’

During the Nov. 13 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, NeNe Leakes took a trip down to Miami with Cynthia Bailey and Kandi Burruss to get away from Sheree Whitfield and Kim Zolciak. While NeNe has never been close with Kandi, during the trip it seemed that the two bonded. But as soon as Kandi returned to Atlanta, she went to Kim’s b-day party and started joking about Nene. NeNe called Kandi out on her actions saying, “Kandi plays both sides of the fence.” Well, Kandi writes in her personal blog that she wasn’t “playing both sides.”

“OK, I had to go back and fast forward this episode to Kim’s birthday to see where I was allegedly ‘hating’ and ‘playing both sides’ as NeNe says,” Kandi says. “After re-watching it I have to ask, what the h*ll were y’all watching where you hear me hating on her or playing both sides?”

Kandi thinks that she is innocent. “I did not say anything negative about Cynthia or NeNe,” she claims. “When Kim asked me about the trip … I made the joke, ‘The one thing that I can say to y’all is that she’s rich now.’ That was the on-going joke ever since NeNe and Sheree had that argument, so it wasn’t a big deal. I even said something to NeNe about the “I’m rich” comment when I was with her in Miami.”

Kandi also clarifies what she meant when she advises NeNe about buying a $9 million mansion in Miami. “I always have conversations with my friends about being careful with your money,” she explains. “That is not hating. That is called looking out for people and passing on what I’ve learned.”

“For anyone to suggest I’m hating on NeNe would mean that she had something I could be jealous about or felt the need to hate on,” adds Kandi. “There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that NeNe has that I want or can’t buy if I wanted to.”

In fact, Kandi wants NeNe to be successful. “I’m not sure why she thinks I don’t want to see her doing well,” she shares. “I made comments about financial planning because I want her to continue to do well, even when she’s no longer on this show.”

If anyone is twofaced it’s NeNe Leaks, she didn’t have anything to do with Kandi till she started runnin outta friends to bad mouth on the show, now she try’s to act like she to good for anybody, when back in the day she was up on that stripper pole butt-a** naked layin down on the floor naked with her legs so wide open you could see her tonsils!! So when she tried to act to good for the stripper at the party I had to laugh, my homeboy in Atlanta said he seen Nene strip before and she used to play with lollipops on stage and they werent goin in her mouth either hahahaha… Kandi girl, you all that and a bag o chips, don’t let no one try to make you feel bad girl, you and Kim are the most real females on that show. Phadera is startin to show her true self to, props on that to Phadera hahaha

Kandi is as phony as I believed her to be. I hate sellout a** sista’s. Kim hardly wanted to be Kandi’s friend initially. It wasn’t until NeNe stopped talking to Kim that Kim made time to get to know Kandi. Kandi’s desprite a** was all to happy to jump on board the “I HATE NENE” train. I believe Kandi wanted relevence, and what other way to gain a fan base then to create an issue with NeNe. Kandui your two-faced and you hardly “FLY ABOVE ALL THE DRAMA, IT”S BENEATH YOU”, or so you claim.

I THINK KANDI WAS JOKING, SHE ALREADY HAVE THINS SHE NEED AND CAN GET WHATEVER SHE, DON’T TAKE IT OUT HAND.

There is know reason for kandi to b jealous of nene fake as or any of the ladies.. She was just making jokes, whatever nene ,kim,sharee,phadera and who ever else have she can go get it today, cause the lady got money! And fan base what? She still clockkn and countin from xscape. IF U HAVE A GRAMMY RAISE YOUR HAND BOO. Didnt think so

I honestly think kandi didn’t mean anything by the comment she made about Nene. Nene made that comment alot. So lady please stop being sensitive when you throw it in everyones face. Kandi is successful and mature and thinks before she says things. She has the right to laugh when the others make jokes, but she’s not by far two faced or plaing both sides.
