'X Factor' Darling Rachel Crow Bashes Astro: I'd Rather Work With Eminem

Is there some rivalry going on between two of the youngest ‘The X Factor’ competitors? We think so!

Rachel Crow and Astro may be two of the youngest performers on this season’s The X Factor, but from the sound of it, they aren’t standing strong together — they each have their own agendas.

Last night after “Rock Night,” HollywoodLife.com chatted with Rachel, 13, about working someday with her 15-year-old rapper co-star, since she’d told us before how much she loves rap music. However, she seemed less than enthused about the prospect.

“Ummm collaborating with Astro, I don’t know,” the adorable crowd favorite told us exclusively. “I love Astro, he’s awesome and I love him…I’d love to collaborate with him but definitely Eminem would be my number one.”

So far, Astro and Rachel are two of the top contenders to win the season. All three judges seem obsessed with them and the crowd goes nuts every time either walks on stage. In the battle of Astro versus Rachel Crow, who do YOU think will win?

I cannot believe the Judges kept Astro on after his attitude at the end. That boy needs to go home. He’s nothing but a punk and a brat!

The amount of hate for Astro on the net is unbelievable. This young boy is talented way beyond his years and way beyond any other contestant on the show. It’s obvious to see. He writes his own lyrics each week. He delivers his performance with his own style, like a pro.

People forget, he is only 15 and from what looks like a broken home. His reaction is natural for his age, especially for a boy with his undeniable self belief. That self belief is part of what makes him as good as he is and the character someone needs to get far.

People should put an arm around him to make him better rather than knock him down.

Is the difference between her professionalism and a certain tantrum throwing brat or a little blonde yodeler who can’t sing her way out of a paper bag.

It was painful to watch last night. I felt bad for them both. Astro reminded me so much of how I felt being his age, and realizing the obstacles laid out before me. But as I got older, and with some serious help I was able to overcome it. So before people start to write this kid off like or not he is representative of alot of African American males who need leadership,love, and positive guidance from their male counter parts. He doesn’t have a loser mentality as some would like to think, he displays a defeated, and dissappointed mentality something all to many of us know about. LA Reid, or whomever needs to stand by this kid so he want end up being another talent lost in the hood.

Attempts to sabotage can be seen clearly if you noticed Astros video of the previous nights performance was taken down yesterday for 7 hours on X factor offical website as well as their youtube “TheXfactorUSA” Simons undying “Annoyance” of the only threat to his competion (the girls) is obvious… even though he tried to act SO SHOCKED last night…Please… just look at the twitter accounts and tell me this act wasnt a crock of British DOoDOo

Sabotage so Rachel can win? If that’s actually happening it is definitely NOT needed.

Rachel doesn’t need help to stomp Astro’s hip-hop hiney into oblivion and Astro certainly doesn’t need help to destroy his cred. He has been doing that quite well on his own.

Besides, Melanie is probably going to take it anyway. Either way, Rachel will probably still be in the game when Astro’s a rapidly fading memory.

This is a competition & everyone thinks the winner should be a humble goodie two shoes… Well, Astro isn’t… He has a broken home, you can tell he is bitter about this & he acts out… He wants people to accept him & his style… That’s what I see… He just has to be more positive, he has a loser’s mentality when you do what he did last night & nobody wants to see that… I guess he’ll just keep coming up in the bottom two & the judges will have to keep saving him, but for how long?? He will get his deal, you don’t think Em, Dre, or 50 have an attitude or ego? Pu-lease.

I don’t understand why people are painting Astro as a kid with no morals. He doesn’t seem like a bad kid just someone who needs to display more self control and humblness. I know he put his mother to shame last night but I believe this will be a learning experience for the still growing 15 year old. Just like any teenager its going to take him time to fully mature and maybe this will cause him to do some self examination and make changes. He needs to play the game a little smarter. This is a SINGING competition so he is breaking boundaries by rapping and being successful in front of an audience that may not even embrace Hip Hop. Therefore, he can’t lose his cool like rapper might normally do.a

Astro was very rude and juvenile. He was in the bottom 2 oh well but to come out and ask if LA Reid thinks he should sing!! If you think your that good do it on your own little one. It’s a contest and Simon was wrong to save him. Better people didn’t get through. With his talent he will go places some day when he matures however for the contest they sent a very bad message.I would never vote for him and hope he dosen’t go any further. Very disappointed in the show last night and the judges.

Stacey had her chance in the spotlight, it’s time for a new fresh young face to have an opportunity to shine. Astro was rude and disrespectful; he made it hard for future young talent to be given an opportunity for fear of a melt down…RIGHT ON LIVE TV ! In his mind he had already won…Astro is spoiled and it showed last night…when he didn’t get his way…he went off; I am glad Simon and LA Reed got in his case. He needs to be HUMBLE AND APPRECIATE WHATEVER SUCCESS HE HAS; HE IS ALERGIC TO THE WORD “NO” so he should stay home until he is HEALED.

Astro’s response was juvenile or immature, it was not ghetto. The behavior of all three of the young contestants showed their immaturity: Drew’s cockiness, Rachel’s near hyperventilation and hysteria because she was the last name called, and Astro’s belligerence was more a product of their age and immaturity than anything else. It’s funny that Drew arrogantly declares that she never receives criticism at home and she’s just going to stick to what she wants to do and no one calls her out for it but he’s labeled ignorant and ghetto for being equally obnoxious and childish. Face it, all three are too young for a competition at this level.

Also stacey was terrible and butchered a serious song. True astro came off cocky but he was just upset because he was in the bottom 2. He deserves to win, u gotta put his age into perspective everyone is over looking how young he is and what they were like at his age, he’s under a lot of stress and competing in a world of adults, give him a break, him and chris renae always get my vote and still will. Simon made the right decision, astro is just plain better than stacey period.

I was a fan of Astro eventhough I am not into rap. Until last night. A little too ghetto with attitude for me at such a young age. Who at that age would act like that to elders..Simon should have sent him home to NY and let him think about his actions.

When Alexandria said “peeps”, the rest of her observations ceased to matter. Astro is a talented young boy who is overshadowed obviously by serious issues, including a real lack of respect for others – And he’s old enough to be told that.

Disrespect is never ok. Everyone, please reflect, and put things into perspective. Stacy is very good. She did not come through for at least the last two weeks. Astro has been outstanding week after week. No one can deny his talent. Many of us do not know how we will handle disappointment, he is young, and still has a lot to learn. I will give him another chance. There is a reason, why we excuse people for acts committed in juvenile years.

Peeps seem to forget that Astro is still a kid who obviously had a tough upbringing. Anyone who knows what that’s like can see right through him. He has more talent than the majority of those peeps. Writing his own songs week by week with great content while everyone else just sings covers. Being the only one in any reality TV to bring Hip Hop to the talent shows respectively. The kid got his feelings hurt and didn’t deal it with very well, but give the kid a break. He obviously has the drive, the focus, and is extremely talented and that’s why the judges put him through.

Simon blew it. He had a chance to right the ship. Why he would ever allow a contestant to disrespect America and the X Factor show itself, confuses me. His putting Astro thru has hurt his and the shows credibility. That is not the Simon Cowell America has come to know. He has sacrificed his morals and allowed this boy to remain and booted out another contestant who was so much more deserving of staying. He has done a disservice to this young boy and may have caused further harm with his decision. The boy is clearly not ready and will most likely self destruct like so many other unready and misguided stars. LA Reid is also not giving this boy what he needs. The boy is talented, but needs his huge ego to be kept in check. LA Reid gives Chris Rene an ultimatum of staying clean. He should give Astro the same tough love. That boy is clearly misguided and Mr. Reid, as the Mentor, should be doing much more than boosting the young boy’s ego. This is the X Factors first season and the shows credibility has been sacrificed for this disrespectful teen. Sadly, the real loser here is Astro. He is immature, rude, disrespectful, ignorant and self absorbed. Simon’s decision to keep him, after that disrespectful display, will only assist in further causing this boy to continue on his misguided path. He should have been given the boot for his own good.

I disagree with you. Simon immediately called Astro out on the carpet for his actions and told him how he acted was immature and disrespectful to his parents, the show, and his fans. The boy made a mistake, acted immature (which is nothing NEW for a 15 year old kid), and was CORRECTED by all the judges and given a second chance. He knows that he cannot get away with that behavior anymore so I don’t see anything wrong with keeping him over Stacy, especially when he has the better chance of winning between the two.

I agree. Simon did call Astro out for his rude behavior. But he also allowed him to move on because he has the better chance of winning. What message does that send to all of Astro’s fan’s? If you are talented you can get away with being rude, disrespectful, ignorant and self absorbed. Astro’s actions were a slap in the face to the stage he was privileged to perform on and all the American voters. The boy needs a reality check and some serious guidance. Othewise he will fall prey to his own doing. My concern is not with this boy winning, but rather ensuring he is not only prepared for a music career, but also prepared to handle life and what lies ahead in his future. He is so not ready!
