Congrats, Connie! The ‘Friday Night Lights’ star is now a proud mommy of a little 9-month-old boy from Ethiopia!
After a three year old adoption process, Connie Britton is now a first-time mom! She adopted Yoby — a nickname for his given name Eyob — from Ethiopia, according to Us Weekly.
The single 44-year-old actress will have her hands full! In addition to raising a baby on her own, she’s starring in FX’s new hit American Horror Story. Even better, a movie based of her now off-air show Friday Night Lights is “happening for realsies.”
“[The show's creator Pete Berg] is totally fired up to do it and I know Jason Katims is talking about writing a script,” she said. “I think it’s really a matter of… getting everyone’s busy schedules aligned and making it happen. It kind of feels like there’s a lot of commitment to it.”
We’re so happy for her! She must be so excited about her new baby!
