Selena’s rescue dog Baylor got sick after eating rocks and he almost needed surgery! And now the adoption agency keeping an eye on the singer!
Selena Gomez shared her fears with the world when she tweeted on Nov. 11 that her new puppy Baylor was very sick. The 19-year-old performer was scared that Baylor, who she’s had for about a month, would need surgery. Luckily, Baylor resolved his issue without having to go under the knife. But will Selena lose the dog she adopted?
“My baby is sick :(” Selena wrote. “praying for his surgery”
Baylor got sick because he ate a bunch of rocks, but the puppy passed them on his own, according to TMZ.
Still, the adoption agency from which Selena got the Husky-mix pup plans to be in touch with Selena once a month for the next several months to make sure she’s taking care of her puppy.
We’re so relieved to hear that little Baylor didn’t need surgery.

People really need to get over this. First, who has never heard of a dog eating something other than dog food??? It could happen to anyone and he’s still a puppy. I know a puppy who ate the stuffing in a the couch cushions…
Second, you shouldn’t make speculations based on your own opinions or b/c you don’t like her. Saying “she doesn’t take care of her dog” or “she pays people to take care of him for her” is stupid. IS it true? You don’t know that. Also, of course she’s going to take care of him. If she didn’t have time for another dog I highly doubt she would have adopted him. And you can tell she feels badly about it and worries about him. This is far less worse than a lot of things, look it up on peta.org if you really think that this is “neglect”.
Third, people do go on vacation. And when they do they have someone take care of their dog for them if they can’t take them. Just b/c there aren’t a thousand and one pictures of her and her pets doesn’t mean she doesn’t care for them. Maybe she wants privacy and does it w/o the media stalking her.
People, really, calm down. Its not the end of the world.
