Kris was “wallowing in misery with his beer” during a night out, a source reveals to HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
Just two weeks after his wife Kim Kardashian filed for divorce, Kris Humphries jumped a plane and headed back to NYC on Nov. 14. Once he was back in the Big Apple, Kris headed to Serafina — the restaurant he used to go to all of the time with Kim — to grab a bite to eat with some friends. While Kris was surrounded by buddies, he still seemed miserable without Kim by his side!
“He was with three guys and one girl, who was married to one of his friends,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “It was really sad because he sat the same table that he used to sit at with Kim. They had a special table by the fire oven that they always sat at, so it was weird to see him there without her.”
Kris was really unhappy. “He seemed really sad,” describes a witness. “He was talking low and seemed very mellow. His friends seemed to be supporting him.”
“He just seemed lonely and sullen,” says the witness. “He’s been through so much. He must feel in over his head. His friends were trying to help him, trying to be good friends, trying to be upbeat.”
But it didn’t seem to make a difference. “Kris was drinking beers,” reveals the witness. “He was kind of wallowing in misery with his beers.”
Kris’ depressing attitude was completely different from the last time he visited Serafina with Kim. “Last time, he was laughing with her and smiling with her,” explains the source. This time, “he was all sad. It was sad and depressing.”
Other patrons at the restaurant even questioned Kris as to why Kim wasn’t by his side this time. “When he arrived, someone yelled, ‘Hey, where is Kim?’” shares the witness. “He just stopped, tuned around and looked. He didn’t respond, just turned back around and kept walking.”
Kris and his friends arrived around 9:30 and left at “almost midnight,” notes the witness. “He ate pasta, and it was a long dinner.”

He’s really playing this naive card for all it’s worth. He’s not sad. BS. When they were married he was busy getting lapdances, other girls numbers and contacting his ex. You need more people Kris!
