Kim’s divorce attorney Laura Wasser handled the prenup and the divorce and knows that it wasn’t fake!
Kim Kardashian‘s marriage to Kris Humphries was not a sham, her divorce attorney LauraWasser tells TMZ. In fact, given the prenup negotiations, it seems that Kim and Kris planned to be married to Kim for a long time!
Laura was the one that negotiated Kim’s prenup and filed the paperwork for her divorce on Oct. 31, just 72 days after Kim married Kris. “Our office did indeed negotiate and prepare a prenup for Ms. Kardashian,” Laura reveals to TMZ. “Given what I know regarding that document, it is not plausible that this marriage was a sham.”
Negotiations for the prenup were “prolonged” because they focused on financial issues “that go well into the future,” Laura explains.
“Why on earth would they [Kim, Kris and their lawyers] create a document which looks far into the future if they planned a marriage that would only last a few months,” another source says to TMZ. The prenup was 30 pages long with “exhibits, tax returns and other financial documents.”
