The legendary José Eber opened up his salon EXCLUSIVELY for — it was the ultimate VIP day with the most skilled stylists and makeup artists working their magic to transform us into A-list celebrities!

José Eber is hands down the most well-known and sought after hairstylist in the world and we got a chance to spend an entire day with him at his Beverly Hills salon!

The French native responsible for creating the internationally coveted Farrah Fawcett flip back in the 70s turned our Editor-in-Chief Bonnie Fuller, Fashion Editor Katrina Mitzeliotis, and Entertainment reporters Chloe Melas and Kirstin Benson into glamorous vixens for the 2011 Hollywood Style Awards held at the world-famous Smashbox Studios in West Hollywood.

For more than four decades, José has changed the course of hair history with his innovative technique and by doing so he’s one of the most famous beauty trendsetters in the world.

José’s team which consisted of Jonah San Vicente doing fabulous makeup and Paul Anthony doing amazing hair — the star-studded event ended up being a dream come true!

José’s new salon which is accented in purple as a tribute to his longtime best friend Elizabeth Taylor, is located in the heart of Beverly Hills in the former home of the elite Christie’s Auction House. José has said the new space which opened in July 2011 was “old world Parisian style with an updated twist.”

We loved it and anyone who ever wants an A-list experience must run not walk to the José Eber salon!
