Gwen Stefani is definitely taking some inspiration from the recent top knot trend, but made it her own by adding a twist to the bun and wearing it high atop her head. The bun is a bit messier than the sleek ones we’ve been seeing on celebs like Kim Kardashian and Reese Witherspoon and Gwen pulled a few strands loose to frame her face. Is it a great personal take on a widely worn trend or should she have left the look alone?
Gwen wore the hairstyle to the 2011 Museum Of Contemporary Art Gala on November 12, pairing the look with red lips, rosy cheeks and intense mascara.

thats how i do my hair when i roll out of bed and i wash my face… but i can see how it works on the red carpet too hahahahahah yeah right
