The king of reality TV judges tells that ‘Howard would be good for the show!’

All of Hollywood is buzzing about Howard Stern potentially replacing Piers Morgan on NBC’s America’s Got Talent – and can exclusively tell you that The X Factor judge Simon Cowell is all for the idea! “I think if it happens it will be amazing!” Simon told us Nov. 10 at the Pepsi THE X FACTOR Viewing Party at the Pepsi House in the Hollywood Hills. “I kind of like the potential chaos of Howard and [Sharon Osbourne] together.”

“Howard would be good for the show!” Simon added. “I think the fact that he is thinking about it either way means that there is a good shot. I know for a fact there is no deal yet.”

They have to move the show to New York if he’s going to do it. He’s turned down about a thousand major offers including movies and TV because he didn’t want to get on a plane and go to L.A. Believe it or not, he likes to sit at home and avoid publicity.

And if they do move it, and he does it, then this will be the best show on TV. Last season was unwatchable for me. The judges are just horrible. Howard won’t be X-rated, or even R-rated. He’ll be PG-13. He’ll be incredibly funny, smart, sharp, and completely honest. He won’t be needlessly mean either. Just honest. Especially about the other judges. He’ll call them out for poor judging constantly. And they’re regular guests on his show so there’s already a rapport there.

I agree. I have been a Howard Stern listener for 20 years and he is not what everyone thinks. He is very smart, tells it like it is and will bring new life to the show! I subscribed the very first day he was on satellite and will do so until he retires or goes somewhere else. Everyone should really give him a chance. Listen if Beth Ostrosky married him (she is hot as hell!) Then you guys will really enjoy his comedy and wit. He obviously has game and will breathe new life into that tired show.
