Ebony’s father, Anthony reveals that she’s seriously she’s trying to get her life back together after self harming with marijuana, being arrested and losing custody of her daughter Jocelyn, 2!
16 and Pregnant star Ebony Jackson-Rendon is finally seeking psychological help after the Jacksonville, Ark. Police Department and the Department of Health Services raided her home on Sept. 12, arrested her and her husband Joshua for endangering the welfare of a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia and took her 2-year-old daughter Jocelyn away from her. Ebony checked into rehab for her second time!
“Her state of mind is good,” her father Anthony Jackson Sr. tells Star magazine. “She has her ups and downs.”
Ebony, 19, went into treatment for one week in September following the shocking arrest. “They put her on medication and released her, and I didn’t feel you can give her help in a week’s time and then she’s better,” says Anthony. “She needs to continue getting help.”
After the Sept. 12 events, Ebony told HollyBaby.com exclusively that she had been suffering from suicidal thoughts after having a miscarriage earlier in the summer. At the time Ebony spoke to Hollywoodlife.com, she said that she would be seeking “therapy to find the right depression medication.”
“I was just doing it to self harm,” Ebony also told us about her marijuana use.
It’s good to hear that Ebony is trying hard to get back on track.
