The soccer star said he doesn’t want to coddle his children! Will their wealthy lifestyle spoil the kids?

Victoria Beckham took the newest member of the family, Harper Seven, to watch her dad David Beckham’s LA Galaxy soccer team play. The almost four-month-old has already accompanied her mom on fabulous shopping trips to high-end designers — and David Beckham worries Harper and her brothers Brooklyn and Romeo won’t have “the hunger” he had as a kid!

According to The Daily Mail, David’s worried his children will be too spoiled. He wants them to make their own way in the world!

“They’ve got a great life set up for them,” he said. “Obviously our boys and little girl are very lucky. But I think, as a parent, you always worry: ‘Have they got the hunger that I had as a kid?’”

David said he’s raising his sons how he was raised: “I’m as hard on my boys as my dad was. They always ask, ‘Did I play well?’ I’ll say, ‘You did alright, could have done better…’”

Is David being too hard on his sons? David thinks it works. “The way my dad brought me up, he was strict,” he said. “I’m exactly the same way with my boys. They have their feet on the ground.”
