The couple reportedly fought intensely over how much money they would each make from the wedding! And guess who got most of it?

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries‘ marriage was destined to fail long before they said “I do.” According to a new report from TMZ, the couple had bickered bitterly, even treating each other with contempt , while putting their prenup together — mostly about Kris wanting to make more money from their wedding. ”It was really apparent then … this marriage wasn’t going to last,” the source says. “Even they could see it wasn’t a good idea.”

The source also adds that, during private negotiations that took place during the summer, Kim and Kris would both frequently complain about how their spouse-to-be was treating them badly. The key point of contention was about how much of a financial cut Kris would make from the wedding payouts.

Not surprisingly, it was Kim who won out and according to TMZ.com’s source, and got the lion’s share of the money. Are you surprised? Meanwhile, both Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian have been come out swinging in interviews, saying that Kim and Kris didn’t make the $17 million haul that’s been reported. Kris Jenner told the Today show that the pair made ” less than a million dollars and probably more than half a million dollars.” Even that isn’t exactly chump change to most people- wouldn’t you say?

Ironically, Kim told Australian morning show Sunrise that she decided to divorce Kris because of her ”intuition.” But what was her intuition telling her when she was engaging in bitter arguments with Kris over the prenup? And furthermore, why didn’t she mention his name once in that interview?

 

So it appears even that the divorce die was cast in the Kim Kardashian/Kris Humphries relationship even before the wedding!
