Chloe Moretz 'Vogue' UK: She Admits Her Mom Won't Let Her Google Herself!

The 14-year-old lands another spread in a high-fashion mag, where she talks about her favorite music, trying on Blake Lively’s Louboutins, and having a curfew in Hollywood!

While most teenagers are still trying to put together the perfect outfit for school, Chloe Moretz has already landed spreads in major fashion magazine’s like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. That being said, it comes as no surprise that she’s currently featured in the December issue of Vogue UK.

Clad in an alice + olivia sweater, Balmain leather pants, and a pair of Converse, the 14-year-old almost looks like your average girl — that is, if every average teen found themselves on numerous best dressed lists and on the big screen!

Inside the mag, she discusses her obsession for Gossip Girl, her affinity for Britney Spears, and her friendship with Hick co-star Blake Lively. Blake said, “She would come and try on my Louboutins,” but when Chloe’s passion for fashion led to much excitement her family said, “Ok, Chloe. Stop. You’ve only just been allowed to wear heels.”

While she may be right in the spotlight, her family still keeps her grounded — in fact, she even has a curfew! Her mom picks her up from parties, she isn’t allowed out on Saturday night, and she isn’t allowed to google herself! “My mum won’t let me,” she told the mag.

Despite her fame, we think it’s so cool that Chloe stays grounded — do you agree?

She’s cute as can be, a good young actress, and I’m totally a fan, but I don’t believe everything she says. PR is a big part of the game and I’m sure they’re working hard to make her appear as normal as can be, but I’m not buying some of her answers.

There is no way her mother can prevent her from Googling herself. This kid is totally wired, has her own Twitter account, etc., so she can no doubt Google herself anytime she wants. What I’m hoping is her mother counsels her to not take her press clippings too seriously, and not to take some of the very odd and inappropriate comments seriously either. In other words, provide perspective on the things she is no doubt seeing. It has to be a bit unsettling for a young girl who is brought up to respect adults to suddenly see the dark side of some adults long before they normally would.

“so she can no doubt Google herself anytime she wants.”

Maybe she obeys her parents’ orders. Quaint concept I know, but it’s not impossible.

I think it’s stupid that she isn’t allowed to go out on a SATURDAY night. Isn’t that the day most parents don’t have a problem with their hanging out?
