A 24-year-old British woman conceived quadruplets naturally at amazing odds, and she hadn’t even been trying for a baby!
Adele Jelley admits she’s struggling to imagine how she and partner Gary Gorman will cope with not one, but four babies, but they’re still delighted, according to The Daily Mail.
Still, the news came as a shock: “I was late getting my first scan because I didn’t realize I was pregnant at first, and I missed my first scan at 12 weeks.” She said until her first scan at 17 weeks, the pregnancy had been exactly like when she had her daughter Mia, who is four.
During the scan, the midwife said there was more than one child. “I said, ‘Oh, can you see two, like?'” But the midwife answered, “No pet, there’s four.”
The couple was told they’re expecting three boys and a girl! “We’ve always wanted a lad, but I just assumed it would probably never happen — I didn’t expect to be getting three in one go!” Gary exclaimed.
What amazing odds! And we wish the best for Adele and Gary!
