Lindsay Lohan Sentenced To 30 Days In Jail, 50 Days In Morgue!

Lindsay Lohan Jail

After admitting that she failed to comply with the terms of her probation, Lindsay will be spending time behind bars!

A judge sentenced Lindsay Lohan to 300 days of jail — but she will only serve 30 days and must surrender by Nov. 9.

In court, Lindsay waived her right to a hearing and admitted that she violated her probation by failing to complete her scheduled community service for charges stemming form a 2007 DUI arrest.

Per the terms of her sentence, Lindsay is not eligible for house arrest, electric monitoring or early release unless required by law. The remainder of her jail time — 270 days — will be stayed until March 29, as long as she completes 50 days of community service at the morgue and 19 psycho-therapy sessions in stages as laid out by the judge.

If she has completed the requirements by March 29, her probation will be over and her sentence will be stayed indefinitely.

One interesting rule the judge issued, however, is that Lindsay is not allowed to tweet about her work at the morgue!

Do you think this sentence was fair, HollywoodLifers?

I think the sentence is too short !! She had plenty of time to complete her community service. If it were myself or any other ‘reguler person’ you know we would be doing, at a minimum, half the time not just 30 days !!! Can’t wait to see how long it takes for her new teeth to return to their rotten, yellow teeth !!! I have a son who ‘was’ addicted to METH and the only way he kicked it was by being put in jail and it was a lot longer than 30 days !!!! What about ‘reguler drug tests? Or is she just too famous for that?

Lindsay Lohan is a disaster and needs some serious intervention. She smirks and laughs at everything. Ahh, I think she is still a big time adict. Anyone or agency that would support this brand, Lohan, is just as pathetic as this family.

What I’m saying, short version, is Lindsay’s early release likely is required by actual law that was put in place by the politicans who work up in Sacramento, California’s state capitol. These are laws that did not exist back when Paris Hilton was forced to do all of that extra time five or so years ago. California has more debt then any state in the country. And the largest inmate population too. Obviously, this is an issue that the politicans have been targeting for while now.

I’m pretty certain the judge would overstep her bounds if she attempted to intercede on the early release that every county jail inmate recieves due to vast overcrowding. Paris Hilton’s judge did it, but everyone agreed that is was wrong for that judge to do what he did. That was five years ago. Jails have gotten much more crowded and the California’s budget crisis has grown much worse. The state government has ordered the jails not to waste their space on people like Lindsay. The sheriff is under orders by Sacramento not to jail people like Lindsay. California cannot afford to, literally. Prison inmates with violent felony records are recieving early releases around here. People who don’t live in California don’t understand. There is no money and no space. That is why Lindsay never spends any real time in jail. It’s not up to the Sheriff’s “discretion.” The sherif is simply following orders. This goes way over his head.

not eligible for early release “unless required by law”… i wonder what that means. does the sheriff’s discretion count as “law” so that he can just let her out due to overcrowding, as usual? whatever. still f’ing trying to get her to pay her criminal debt 4 years later. the most ridiculous thing i’ve ever seen.
