Kim wasted no time after her split with Kris Humphries — she’s already out in public without her huge rock and $2 million engagement ring!

Kim Kardashian‘s shocking split from Kris Humphries was solidified on Oct. 31 when she filed papers for divorce, and she wasted no time getting rid of her ring!

Kim, 31, was spotted at LAX later that day without her huge 20.5 carat wedding band that represented her union with Kris, 26.

Kim, who was photographed at the airport on her way to Sydney, Australia seemed to make VERY sure that photographers were able to take her photo WITHOUT her ring! Hmmm!  Kim for once, actually looked very tired, dressing much more casually than her usual self and was out of sorts, repacking her suitcase on the floor as she went through security.

Kim and her sister Khloe Kardashian Odom will be overseas on a business trip, appearing live in studio, Thursday on the Aussie morning news program, Sunrise. This will be her first television interview since announcing her divorce from Kris on Oct.31.

In addition to their television appearance, Kim and Khloe will also be in Australia to promote the launch of their new handbag collection.

Kris, on the other hand, was seen yesterday Oct. 31, the day of the divorce announcement, wearing his wedding ring on his way to the gym in Minnesota. Kris, who reportedly only learned of the divorce announcement yesterday, issued a statement saying, “‘I’m committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents.” Kris said, “I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce … I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.”

While Kim seems eager to see this divorce through, it is apparent that Kris is in this for the long haul and wants to work their marriage out.
