Kim goes solo to her Halloween party after Kris reportedly cancels! Sources describe Kim’s strange and ‘sad’ behavior and she reveals her lonely plans.
Kim Kardashian, dressed as Poison Ivy, fulfilled her professional obligations and showed up to her Midori Halloween Party at Lavo in NYC on Oct. 29 sans her new hubby Kris Humphries! HollywoodLife.com attended the lavish bash and we can tell you that the 31-year-old reality starlet looked “miserable” during the two hours she was at the party! And Kim confirmed that she would be flying to Australia on another business trip without Kris, 26, later in the week!

Instead of having Kris by her side, Kim’s best buddy Jonathan Cheban acted as her Batman sidekick, Robin. And while Kim was the host of the party, she was much more into her cell phone than the party. She spent the night texting “nonstop” and showing Jonathan her secret messages, a source tells the NY Daily News.
HollywoodLife.com can tell you that Kim definitely appeared to be bored while she mingled with her close circle of friends. Kim didn’t drink, dance or even so much as laugh. We witnessed her taking photos the entire time with the Midori products and she didn’t address the hundreds of party goers even once! We would have loved it if she’d given a special Halloween shout out — but she might still be shaken up after being booed at her Las Vegas birthday bash.
When speaking with Us Weekly, Kim explained the reason for Kris’ absence: “Oh, he’s in Minnesota,” she explained, when asked about Kris’s absence. “Being in New York for a couple of months, I went to L.A. to unpack, and he had to go and bring all his stuff to unpack in Minnesota.”
Hmm. Sounds a little strange. Why wouldn’t Kris unpack in Minnesota later this week when Kim heads to Australia on a planned business trip? Oh and then why isn’t he going on the trip with her anyway? He isn’t working due to the NBA lockout!
Speaking about the pair’s marriage, she said: “It’s always tough when you’re apart. But we do what we can to try and spend time together and make time for each other.” Hmm again. So why aren’t you spending time together now or in Australia? Kris doesn’t have to be apart from hardworking Kim!
HollywoodLife.com can tell you that as soon as Kim was finished promoting Midori, she split for the door immediately! She was there exactly two hours and that was it. But we do know Kim had to catch an early-morning flight back to LA to film Extreme Home Makeover with her sisters and Demi Lovato.
Kim also attended hotelier Vikram Chatwal‘s birthday party on Oct. 28 at the Dream hotel in NYC without Kris.
Kris was missing in action because he apparently went to spend the weekend with his family. Kris “was supposed to be there but flew home to see his family in Minnesota instead,” sources explain to the New York Post.
Last week Kim and Kris were caught fighting on film after an icy dinner at LA restaurant Izaka-ya, on Oct 26, where they barely spoke to each other and spent most of the time texting, an eyewitness told Hollywoodlife.com.
