In her new blog, Kathy has only nice things to say about all of her cast mates — except for one!
During The Real Housewives of New Jersey season three reunion, Teresa Giudice compared her cousin Kathy Wakile‘s face to that of a raccoon. And while Kathy believes that family is all that matters, in her new Bravo blog she praises each of her co-stars but doesn’t mention Teresa once! Has Kathy disowned her mean cousin?
“Every family has issues,” Kathy writes. “When you think about it, it’s because you are family that the issues are there in the first place. If you weren’t bound together, you could easily just walk away. No more issues, plain and simple. But since you are bound together by love, you have an inseparable connection. Whether you want to interpret it as the love of the idea of a great big happy family, or the love for what once was, or just the love for someone that you are related to, family becomes an ongoing part of who you are.”
Kathy believes that Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga are definitely part of her family. “The Gorgas and Wakiles are closer than ever,” Kathy says. “This is what family is all about.” No mention of the Giudices?
Kathy also talks up the rest of her cast mates. “It was very sad not to have Jacqueline [Laurita] with us at the reunion,” she shares. “Jacqueline has been very kind to me from the very beginning, and I won’t ever forget her kindness.”
Next, Kathy commends her former enemy Caroline Manzo. “Although Caroline and I got off to a rough start this season, I can fully appreciate where she was coming from,” she admits. “It did not always make it any easier to deal with, but I did appreciate her very gracious apology. As you can see, as we spent more time together we have grown to like one another and more importantly, to respect each other. It’s been a pleasure to get to know her family.”
But Kathy doesn’t mention Teresa one time throughout her whole blog. Instead she looks back on the past, and wishes she could change how certain events went down.
“As I have mentioned many times before, it has been just as difficult for me to see some of the scenes play out as it is for those of you watching at home,” Kathy says. “Don’t you wish there was a rewind button on life? Too bad there isn’t one.”
