Babies aren’t usually big art collectors, but Sandra’s adopted son Louis is building quite the collection!
Us Weekly reports that during the Oct. 27 amFAR Inspiration Gala at the Chateau Marmont in L.A., Sandra Bullock’s agents bought Andy Warhol’s iconic “Peaches” print as a gift for one-year-old Louis! The price? $14,000!
“I want to thank Kevin Huvane and Bryan Lourd for not being cheap f*cks and gifting my son with his first Warhol,” Sandra joked.
The amFAR event was to benefit AIDS research and to honor Elizabeth Taylor, who created the foundation in 1985 and died in March.
“Earlier this year, the world lost a radiant woman of courage and compassion,” Sandra said. “She lives on in every person she touched.”
We’re glad the money went toward a good cause — but what does a one-year-old do with a Warhol? Hopefully baby Louis appreciates art when he grows up! HollyMoms, what do you think of Louis’gift?
