This adorable girl had NEVER made a phone call in her life, but now she’s a superhero after one phone call!
Larissa Taylor said she had never taught her two-year-old daughter Lia Vega to use the phone, but somehow the girl was able to call her grandmother and save her mother in time!
“I was going to wash my daughter’s bottle, and I blacked out after that and woke up to my mom shaking me, waking me up,” Larissa told ABC News. She didn’t realize the she was diabetic — or that her daughter could use the phone.
“I never taught her how to use the phone, so I have no clue how she picked it up,” the mom explained. “I assume just by watching us.”
Smart Lia was able to call her grandmother, Bobbie Gonzalez. “It was Lia and she said, ‘My mom fell down,'” the proud grandma said. “I said, ‘Let me talk to your mom,’ and she said, ‘She won’t wake up.'” Realizing what had happened, Bobbie called 9-1-1 and rushed to the house.
A real-life hero, Lia has been getting lots of hugs and praise. “She’s been wearing a towel around the house, calling herself a superhero, because mommy has told her about it,” Larissa said. So, definitely she’s my little superhero.”
