‘RHONJ’ star Melissa reveals what really fueled the explosive reunion, why Jacqueline Laurita wasn’t there and how Teresa can set things right with her cast mates in an exclusive HollywoodLife.com video interview!
During The Real Housewives of New Jersey season three reunion, Teresa Giudice was thrown in the hot seat for all of the her lies and back stabbing. But finally, her cast members got the the chance to put her on the spot and confront her. Melissa Gorga, Teresa’s sister-in-law, sits down with HollywoodLife.com in an exclusive video interview to discuss what caused the reunion to be so heated!
“We had an explosive night the day [before the reunion] — that was a lot of the reason for the bad blood that you saw,” Melissa tells us. “We were all very upset about it.”
Teresa was the cause of cast’s anger. “Everyone was upset with her,” says Melissa. “Obviously you saw the commotion between her and Caroline [Manzo], so I didn’t want to sit there and her think that we were ganging up on her. That was not the intention at all. We’re not trying to team up on her. We are addressing the issue. That’s what the reunion is.”
Jacqueline Laurita was so upset with Teresa that she didn’t show up to the reunion. “It was something that Teresa has done that Jacqueline does not agree with,” explains Melissa. “She just wouldn’t be able to handle a nine-hour filming session.”
Melissa has her own issues with Teresa. “There’s no denying she picks on me,” admits Melissa. “She takes it as I’m copying her instead of as a compliment. Well look, I see the way you guys do things and I want to be a part of this family and I want to do it the same. It’s a shame that she doesn’t look at it that way.”
And as to Teresa implying that Melissa only married Joe Gorga (Teresa’s brother) for his money, “I feel like I have absolutely nothing to prove,” says Melissa. “We have an amazing relationship. We are madly in love — we have been since the day I met him. Just for the record, Joe and I have been through incredible lows where we couldn’t buy diapers. I didn’t go anywhere and I never would.”
Has Teresa always been this nasty to Melissa? How does Melissa feel about her sister-in-law’s bad behavior now? Will Teresa ever be able to win everyone’s forgiveness? Watch our video interview for all of the answers!
