Teresa Giudice Doing Construction To Home

Teresa and Joe filed for bankruptcy for close to $11 million! And sources tell HollywoodLife.com exclusively the Giudice home has an addition being built at this moment! How is that possible?

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe Giudice filed for bankruptcy with a debt of about $11 million in October, 2009 — but it seems like the reality stars are getting back on financial track somewhat. Teresa and Joe must be doing well as they are doing construction to their New Jersey mansion!

“There is construction going on, on the right side of their home,” a witness tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “It looked like they were adding on another section to their already finished home.”

A different source reveals to us that ”they are adding on for the parents.” But another insider explains that Teresa and Joe are just trying to fix up their garage that is “falling apart.”

Either way, this costs money and Teresa and Joe have other expenses too!

Teresa has hired help that picks her laundry from the the dry cleaners, a source admits. She never picks it up herself!

Are Teresa and Joe getting out of debt? “Yes, she’s paying everything back,” a friend shares with us. “She’s working day and night. She’s not sitting around — she’s out there busting her *ss trying to pay her bills.”

Don’t do work or provide goods to complete the addition. You will be burnt just like the other people they stiffed. I feel for all the businesses they stiffed. Teresa is a piece of work – her books should pay these businesses back – it’s the right thing. You took food out of the mouths of these children, time to pay back. These people are disgusting, they need to be in jail. Don’t buy her book, remember the ingredences and commen comment, really. She can’t cook. Save your money.

Of course the addition is for Teresa’s parents. Who else watches the kids when Tre is out making all that money. Joe is not working. He may be trying to collect rent from his “apt buildings” he owns. That leads me to the next question, how is Joe driving around since he was arrested months ago, for using his brother Pete’s ID at DMV to obtain a fraudulant license in NJ. (shaking my head)

Yes, they did cancel the bankruptcy before going on trial for fraud. Also, Joe plead the fifth-how convenient! Along with trying to hide income, properties and businesses, they also provided the court with bogus tax returns. Turns out they hadn’t filed for years. My question is “where’s the IRS?” I recently read a tweet from Jacqueline claiming that the Giudices plan to re-file for bankruptcy once things calm down. Even with good sales of her books and being on Bravo, there’s no way they can afford to pay off 8-11 million worth of debt. Especially with the lifestyle she seems to believe they’re entitled to.

if they’re on the verge of bankruptcy, i think putting money into your home is the only safe bet, right? you usually get to keep your home… yah, they’re behavior with money is disgusting, to say the least. but maybe they’re getting a double wham for this— if joe’s a contractor, and he’s doing this job, teresa can use her earnings to give her husband a salary and to “lock it in” to home improvements that are more safe from being repossessed or something. gheesh. these guys need to get some perspective on life and obligations to others.

Stop spending and pay back the people that you owe. Maybe they need their money so that they can fee their children.

Friend is an idiot. Teresa legally can not pay back the debt for which she is seeking discharge. Not while the bankruptcy proceedings are pending.

It is debt incurred AFTER the bankruptcy was filed that she may (or may not) be trying to pay. That debt is not covered by this bankruptcy filing.

What I want to know is what idiot has extended credit to these awful people?

Teresa and Joe withdrew their bankruptcy case amid fraud allegations — they were looking @ jail time.

tcdc is right, BK stopped, if they had gone forth BOTH would be in Federal prison for fraud. Theresa lied on the reunion. Do a search, all the court info is on the web. They have agreed to pay back approx 8 million bucks. Yet, are bulding on their house. LOL Their fraud put some small businesses in danger of going under. People should really check this out, before blindly ‘loving’ these people. These type of loses come back on all of us. Too bad she has to work ‘day and night’ they did this to themselves and from reports, Theresa is STILL spending gobs of money. NO sympathy from me. Shameful.

What a lying scheming pair these two are. Continue to build on to house, buy expensive clothes for 6 people, throw lavish parties. Basically do whatever it is you want to do.

They are mocking everyone with this spending and might I add, not too bright. I am sure IRS will be interested.

Just think about it the judge droped all the charges against teresa not her husband also if she makes a million off each book which I am sure she is doing then she only has 5 more books to write to pay off the debt. And I am sure when the Jersey Housewives show is over she will have her own show she is the reason for the show. Think about how much money bethany frankel made off her wine and such. She will have it bad within 5 years. As for that husband of hers if he goes to jail it might be the best thing for her. Sorry to say.
