Robert Pattinson: Playing Music & Touring?

Rob says he’s ready to focus on guitar — we’re hoping he will play some shows!

Breaking Dawn fans are so excited to see Robert Pattinson on the big screen, but in a new interview he admits his heart is still with music!

Rob, 25, said he loves the thrill of playing for people and hopes to pursue it further after his Breaking Dawn promotional duties end, he tells Holland’s Fancy Magazine.

“What I’m really excited about is to start making music again,” he said. “I play the guitar and the piano and between shooting the scenes I wrote lots of songs. So I can’t wait to perform again. The energy you feel when you show up in a full house is amazing!”

I love Rob’s voice and his music.I love his guitar and piano, love it.

You can definitely see the Van Morrison influence (not the jazzy Morrison, but the more soul, tortured songs) and there is an 80s band that I love called The The – reminds me a bit of them. Amazing band, but very obscure, most people don’t know The The, I think.

I read this article and doesn’t really sound like Rob to me . . . I can’t see him touring to be honest, but maybe I’m wrong. I think right now the whole making movie thing is keeping him pretty busy.
