Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez rented out the Manitoba Museum after hours for a tour and a romantic date on the life-size replica of the Nonsuch ship!
Before heading to the Jets hockey game Oct. 22, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were treated like royalty during a romantic and rare trip to the Manitoba Museum in Winnipeg after it had closed for the day.
According to the museum website, the 17-year-old pop star and his 19-year-old girlfriend were welcomed with open arms to the museum, given a tour and even fed a romantic candlelit dinner aboard the life size replica of the Nonsuch ship!
Museum CEO Claudette Leclerc was on the tour with the A-list couple and dished on the experience, saying, “When they saw the bison diorama, [Justin] said ‘this is just like (the movie) Night At The Museum’. They were both in absolute awe of the Ancient Seas exhibit and very interested to learn the story of its creation—they called it a ‘cool video wall.’”
She told HollywoodLife.com exclusively, ”The Fairmont Hotel catered a gourmet, four course meal. It was really romantic, with dim lights and LED candles everywhere. They ate right on deck…They were very sweet and loving towards each other, always holding hands and looking at each other.”
She added, “It turns out that neither of them knew they were going to be dining on the ship, and when they saw her, they were awestruck and spent at least 10 minutes with our volunteer interpreter asking questions and exploring the ship.”
Even though they are used to receiving the red carpet wherever they go, Justin and Selena were reportedly friendly and excited to be given such a special opportunity. ”They are a very lovely young couple and were very appreciative of our efforts to make their date at the museum special,” Leclerc said.
Do YOU think Justin and Selena’s intense and fairy tale-esque relationship will last for the long haul? They are experiencing the coolest things!
