A judge granted Dog the Bounty Hunter temporary custody of his grandson after a very disturbing audio recording was released in court!
Radar Online reports that the horrific audio contains what is alleged to be Dog the Bounty Hunter Duane Chapman’s 9-year-old grandson being beaten! You can listen to the audio at Radar Online, but be warned that it contains graphic language and sounds!
On Oct. 21, Duane was given custody of Travis Mimms Jr., the son of Duane’s late daughter Barbara-Katie Chapman and Travis Senior.
The audio recording was submitted to court and contains extremely disturbing sounds of what is allegedly Travis Senior yelling at Travis Jr. and then hitting him 13 times.
Duane told Star magazine that was deeply saddened by the events. “I don’t want to take my grandson’s dad away from him,” he said. “I want him (Travis Senior) to take parenting classes. We had to get Travis (junior) out of that situation.”
According to Star, the legal drama began after Travis Jr. told a friend at school that his father was beating him. The friend told his parents, who then contacted the school. While the tape is difficult to hear, Radar Online says that at 46 seconds into the tape the man yells “now you can f**king go to school and complain.”
