While Kristen Stewart has a penchant for fun and edgy minis, Ashley Greene prefers simple and sophisticated looks on the red carpet — and the premiere of Breaking Dawn Part 1 was no exception. The star opted for a navy Givenchy frock from the Resort 2012 collection.

While the structural dress with peplum detailing was chic, I found her Givenchy necklace from the Spring 2012 collection distracting — it was way too busy! Ashley paired the dress with refined accessories, including her chic sandals, which is why I was let down by the additional accessory.

I really don’t like the whole ensemble at all. The dress looks more like an office attire than a promo event dress. She looks more mature in that dress in a bad way, I mean she looks like my boss lady going to a board meeting not meeting the fans. As for the shoes, the design belongs to the 90′s and she should stick with pumps/covered toe shoes so that her crow feet won’t show. The only thing I agree with you is the necklace- it just has to go. Ashley is young so she should choose dresses that complements her body shape and looks fun and young for her age.
