The coroner called Lindsay Lohan’s excuse for being late B.S.!

Lindsay Lohan cannot get her act together! After being arrested and booked once again yesterday for violating her probation, the 25-year-old actress posted bail and planned to resume her community service, this time at the morgue, Oct. 20. However, she showed up 40 minutes late for her first day and the coroner wouldn’t let her come in!

According to TMZ, Lindsay was expected at 8 a.m., but didn’t arrive until 8:40 a.m. Her publicist issue a statement explaining she was tardy “due to a combination of not knowing the entrance to go through and confusion caused by the media waiting for her arrival.”

However, the coroner claimed the excuse was outlandish because Lindsay had visited his office before AND his team gave her detailed instructions on how to get inside, so he turned her away. Fortunately for Lindsay, the incident this morning won’t be on her permanent record — she only needs to complete 16 hours of service at the morgue by the beginning of November.

In an effort to make herself look better, Lindsay tried to brush off the incident, writing on her website, “With all of the stress and pressure from yesterday and today, I’ve never been so happy to go to therapy!!!! Also, I’m sorry for the confusion that I may of caused to those at the Coroner’s office. Won’t happen again, now I know where to go! Thank you for your help.”

Despite her statement, it seems like Lindsay STILL hasn’t learned how to take the law seriously. Do you think she’ll ever be able to clean up her act? Sound off below!
