How exciting! Viola and her husband brought home their new baby girl, and her name is Genesis!
Some secrets are hard to keep: Octavia Spencer, Viola Davis‘s costar in The Help, spilled the beans during a speech at the ELLE Women in Hollywood event Oct. 17, according to People.
Viola and her husband, Julian Tennon, said in August that they were planning to adopt, and now the couple have a new addition to their family. Octavia revealed that her friend became a mom “like, two days ago.”
Viola confirmed that they brought home a newborn girl named Genesis.
