The ‘Twilight’ star tied the knot to her ‘American Idol’ beau in a custom-made dress that was dripping in diamonds!
Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald wed in a private, intimate reception in Malibu on Sunday, where the bride walked down the aisle in a custom-made dress by Tacori. The bridal jewelry brand also crafted Nikki’s engagement ring and the couple’s wedding bands, as well as Nikki’s exquisite dress — and we have all the details on the gorgeous gown!
This unique collaboration resulted in a ivory, form-fitting gown with a “40s classic glamour silhouette,” Tacori’s Michelle Adorjan told Us Weekly. “It flows back into a 72-inch train, about six feet.”
While it sounds over-the-top, “It’s extremely simple,” Michelle said. “The glamorous details are what Tacori brings to it.” And the most unique detailing can be found down the back of the dress, in the form of 100 diamond buttons!
“Instead of a traditional, silk wrap button, we did diamond buttons!” Michelle shared. “A little over 100 carats just on the buttons! But it’s simple and beautiful.”
